Thanks for looking everyone! Not wanting to trade for it, nor am I selling the coils (unless the potential buyer of the car does not want the coils and only wants the OEM suspension).

I don't want to sell it, I've always wanted to have a Kouki and waited 2 years to finally get one. Well, sometimes life is funny that way. I am in school and am currently unemployed, so time to let her go to someone else who will/can care for her the way I intended. I wanted to do so much to it emo

...something's stuck in my eye.

Anyway, a little more about the car:

I bought it in April 2007 from an older man who didn't want to keep struggling getting in and out of it any longer. It was brought in from California and he bought it new there and I still have the original window sticker from when he took it off the lot. I bought it with 74k on the clock. It now has 82k (you do the math, but that means I really didn't drive it that much).

I had plans to build her up as all of you have for your cars. I wanted to focus on the suspension/stance first, then aesthetics like body kit/paint, then swap in an SR once the KA started accumulating miles.

As mentioned in the Craiglist ad, I swapped out the OEM shit and put in Stance GR+ pros during April 2008. I have the 8/6 springs installed and will give you brand new 9/7 springs that came with the coils. The car is a little bouncy (I think too much pre-load or b/c OEM subframe/arms still) but anyone who knows their way around these cars can dial that out. I was just too busy with school and lazy to do that. I also installed a JIC Magic upper rear strut bar recently. Last was the addition of the wheels and tires that I installed this past May held on with new Project Kics R4O lugs. Other than that, no other suspension mods done. That means you can add your choice of arms, sway bars, and front strut bars without having to deal with old aftermarket stuff (I was going to get a JIC front strut bar, SPL arms, Peak Performance tension rods and subframe inserts, and whiteline sways and call it a day).

Aesthetics wise, it is all OEM Kouki SE stuff with some minor dings (It is a 12 year old car). Max did the fender roll on all four corners this past May and the liners are still in the front wells. The tires do rub at full lock, so perhaps yank the liner out? I constantly get looks/compliments about the car/wheels. Dude in a Porsche cruised up along side me and gave me a thumbs up, dude rolls next to me at Cub and talks to me about the paint/color, dude stops me and asks about my wheels, kids on bikes do double takes. I'll miss that about this car and it amazes me how much attention (good and bad) a car like this can get and at such a bargain to do so.

Thanks to all those that decided to shit over my post.

First, the price is not $10k, that was meant to be a joke that no one got. I posted the craigs list ad asking $9k, more as a feeler to see who really wants a kouki in MN. Note, I also did not say firm, and am aware bargaining talks will occur if/when someone test drove it.

Second, I am aware that there are other people selling koukis for far less money, but they are not in MN. Sure, you can argue plane ticket costs and/or shipping and good for you...you wanna go through all that to get one here, more power to you.

Last, it is getting more and more difficult to purchase/find a "blank slate" kouki meaning an enthusiast can buy my low milage unmolested car and build their car how they see fit from the start rather than buying an already modded car and cleaning up what was done.

I am not trying to start flame wars/bash fests, just was trying to post my ad here. Next time, rather than kicking me in the nuts all over this forum, do it to my face or PM me so we can talk and I would be better tempted to adjust prices that way. Have a nice day.
